The simple version.
The Exceed OS is actually simple. You don't need 50 pages of scary legal text to use it well. Here's the whole thing in plain words.
What Exceed is
Exceed OS is the operating system for nutrition coaches. What you pay for is a licence to use the Exceed System: the Coaching Desk, the Meal Plan Desk, the Asset Desk, The Exceed Way, the Academy, and the updates we add. It hands you pre-written, general, educational material (plays, frameworks, meal plans, recipes, templates, lessons) so you can run your coaching business faster. Think of it as a library with great tooling on top. It's a recurring licence fee, and the System stays ours: you're licensed to use it, not buying it outright.
It retrieves. It does not diagnose. Exceed is not a doctor, not a clinic, not a medical service, not an AI health advisor. Nothing in here is advice about a named person. It's starting material for you to shape.
Some Coaching Systems (like the GLP-1 Coaching System) are also sold on their own, as a one-time purchase. Same platform, same rules: just one room of it, bought outright.
Buying a System outright
Pay once, and no subscription starts. You keep access to that System, and every future improvement we make to it, for as long as we run the platform. If we ever stopped running it, we'd give you fair notice and either a sensible way to keep the core materials or a fair refund. The rest of Exceed (the other Systems, the Collections, the Desks) isn't included: that's what Exceed OS is for.
Every one-time System carries a 30-day guarantee, on top of your legal rights, not instead of them: use it with a real client, and if it doesn't make you a clearer, more confident coach, email hello@exceednutrition.com within 30 days of buying for a full refund. Once refunded, access ends. The System is yours to adapt and share with your own clients. It's not yours to resell, share with other coaches, or upload anywhere else.
Your responsibility
You're the professional in the room. We give you the raw material. You decide if it fits the person in front of you, you adapt it, and you stand behind what you send. That means you hold the right qualifications, you keep your insurance current, you spot the red flags (eating disorders, GLP-1 and other medication, contraindications, allergens), and you refer to a healthcare professional when that's the right call. We don't check your qualifications or insurance for you. That part is yours. When in doubt, defer to the appropriate healthcare professional.
And your clients are yours. We work with you. We have no contract with your clients, and we owe them nothing directly. Their care, their consent, their terms: all you.
The Exceed Way
The Method, the Exceed Way, the frameworks behind it all: that's our work, built over years. You get to use it inside your coaching business while your licence is active. You don't get to lift it out, rebuild it, or teach it as your own.
The Mark
Exceed Certified™ means you completed the Exceed Academy and earned the Mark by working through the Method, the Journey, the Plays and the Final. That's real, and you should be proud of it. But be honest about what it is. It is not a government, university, medical or regulated qualification. It doesn't register you with anyone, and it doesn't replace your insurance, your training or any legal requirement. Use the Exceed Certified™ badge the way we ask, only while you're certified and in good standing, and take it down if that ever changes.
Your data
We hold almost nothing. Most of your work lives in your own browser, on your own device. We keep the bare minimum to run your account and take payment. Anything you type about a client stays under your control. We don't store it, read it or review it. If we ever add cloud features, we'll tell you first and put proper data terms in place.
One ask on your side: only enter client details you're allowed to hold, and keep them minimal. A first name is plenty for the tools to work. Health details (like being on a GLP-1) are protected by law at a higher level, so make sure you have your client's clear permission before writing them anywhere, including here.
Intellectual property
The Content, the Method and the Mark belong to Exceed. While you're subscribed, you get a personal licence to use and adapt the Resources inside your coaching business and with your own clients. No reselling, no repackaging, no sharing your login, no building a rival library, no scraping, and no feeding our work into AI to train it.
